About Us
Welcome to the Border Journalism Network Student website. This website was set up for the participating 11 universities and colleges along the U.S.-Mexico border to showcase their students’ multimedia news projects about the border.
The mission of the Border Journalism Network is to create deeper public understanding of the U.S. – Mexico borderlands in all its diversity and complexity. Towards that end, the network functions as a hub through which professionals, educators and their students can gather, develop and share knowledge to improve the quality of border journalism.
